Role of Social Media Influencers in Spreding awareness about COVID-19

When talking about social media influences one should know what they really are. Social Media Influencer is a social media user who has established trust in a particular industry. He is able to reach a large audience and he can persuade others because of their sincerity and reach. A SM influencer is a regular, influential person on social media networks, promoting product products and services. You can also describe the influence of the social media as someone who works in a particular industry and engages with fans in it. And it is a person who is able to touch a person's purchase because of his or her authority or relationships with the intended customers. He can have his own blog with a trusted audience or a social media account, which has provided some interesting content for his subscribers.

Dubai's Influencer (1M Instagram fans) Zeyneb-El-Helw also known as Fashion Pirate told her fans by posting the story on instagram:

"It's time for us to use our platforms to voice our concerns, spread awareness, share lighthearted jokes, engage with our viewers and create content to arouse people's spirits."

He urged other influencers to use their popularity among their fans to spread the good news during these difficult times of COVID-19.

I listened to the Surgeon General this morning… you definitely encouraged me to come here and talk to you guys, ”said Jenner. Sharing his message is important, because it can help his followers to know more and understand the problem, and, as an influence, he still has people who trust him and what he says.

With a population of over 100 million, these were influential people who could change people's perceptions of COVID-19. It can make a huge impact from one tweet or one Instagram share.

 Finland Influencers :

Finland recently launched a campaign to inform people of the corona virus, saying it was just as useful as the mainstream media. This helps to spread the word to those who are ahead of traditional media.

Stephen Mewad : 

YouTuber Stephen Mewad, whose videos get more than 200k views daily, has announced that he is donating his profits to the victims of COVID-19. Through his website where he sells coronary products, 100% of the sales will go to those affected by the corona virus epidemic.

How can other INFLUENCERS help?

If the promoter wants to make a change through his or her channel or page during the epidemic, here are some suggestions:

1: Post items to fans who need them, or send a message asking others to share their stuff.

2: Encourage fans with fun and satisfying activities to do while trapped inside.

3: Hold a public object, where people in your community can store food and clothing for the unemployed.

4: Create a group of fans on Facebook to discuss COVID-19 topics, create awareness, and help keep your neighborhood safe during this critical time.

Influencers, big or small, can help in so many ways. It doesn't matter if you have 1,000 followers or 10 million followers, everyone's message is important at these times. If you can only help one person in public messages, you are successful in using the following to do well.

How Pakistan Government used social media influencers during these times:

PM Imran Khan summoned some of the social media influencers with good number of followers and asked them to spread awareness on the COVID-19.

This really was a good strategic move because there were some tiktokers , and at the time they had a great influence on the people.

Athough many people were against this step but as we have witnesses in many memes on social media " MODERN PROBLEMS REQUIRE MODERN SOLUTIONS."

Why students do not intend to study abroad for their higher education?

 Quaid e Azam studied law from UK. Allama Iqbal also studied philosophy from Germany. 

So there’s no further explaining that how greater these two were and how they contributed for Pakistan.

But the thing is why there is very less or no groove of students going abroad for their higher studies.

We will discuss here shortly about this.

First of all why going abroad for higher studies is important?

A vigilant person can survive in this society. I am not saying this going abroad will make you vigilant for sure but going different places , meeting different people make you so. 

Let suppose there’s a kid who completed his earlier studies from his hometown. He never seen the outer world. He just goes to school and back home. So I am pretty sure he will struggle a lot when he will come to university in making friends or being social. On the other hand a student who is social will be easy with people around him.

I’ve seen a lot of university students struggling in meeting with new people, they sit alone in the campus and are very worried about this. Many students suffer through stress and depression about this. Positive grooming is very much necessary for a student to be successful in professional life and this grooming is not possible if one does not meet new people , see different perspectives of people and how do they think about life. For example the students of GOVERNMENT COLLEGE and FORMAN CHRISTIAN COLLEGE are very well groomed. This is why because in these colleges students from whole Pakistan study there. One can meet people from whole Pakistan there. 

Why do students don’t go to abroad?

First of all when it comes to going to abroad whether it is for only 1 or 2 years , parents get too much emotional. I am not saying here that this isn’t natural but think once about your future. Future isn’t promised to be good or best by going abroad only but struggle is required there too. Anywhere you struggle you succeed but seeing the people of abroad being friends with them makes your perspective more broad and wide.

Secondly students are not even aware about this thing. They only know that people who go abroad are those who aren’t earning here and they are going just for the sake of earning . But there are a ton of students of go abroad for studies and they tell us through social media and YouTube that they are enjoying the time span here.
